Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh Strawberries, Raspberries, or any other desired fruit
- 2 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
- ½ cup Carrots (optional)
*For additional flavour and health benefits, try combining fruits with different spices, like cayenne pepper or ginger
Yields: 15 strips
Sugar per serving: Approximately 4 grams. Sugar will vary depending on fruit chosen
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200° Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper and pour mixture onto paper. Spread mixture out with a spatula to form a thin, even layer.
- Place pan in oven and cook mixture for 3-5 hours or until mixture is firm. Remove pan from oven and allow mixture to cool completely.
- Once cooled, use kitchen shears to cut the mixture and parchment paper into 1inch strips. Roll strips, leaving parchment paper attached to keep rolls from sticking to themselves.
- Place in a sealed bag and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freezer for up to 1 month.
- Any fruit can be used, mangoes, apples, blueberries, etc.
